PAUSE
23 days of digital reset

A mental and sensory hygiene practice
from December 20 to January 11
Why is silence a biological necessity?
We live overexposed to information.
Our brains, fed by digital dopamine spikes, lose their ability to rest and focus.

PAUSA offers a cognitive break: a momentary pause in the flow so the nervous system can reset.
Cultivating silence is a way to recharge.

PAUSE is a digital space that follows the rhythm of the Earth:
stop,
observe,
let something grow again.
An inner ecosystem where attention gets refreshed and the mind returns to a fertile state.

Clarity appears when the noise rests.

Four
natural movements
PAUSE is a rhythm; a process that unfolds through four movements, like the seasons of an inner garden:
noticing what is there,
planting new conditions,
renewing what was exhausted,
and living in the natural rhythm that emerges.
This journey aims to help remember the natural balance that is already within us.

Over the course of three weeks, you will receive a series of notes designed to guide you through a process of reflection and presence. They are invitations to notice how you are, what changes, and what stays the same.

Some come as questions, others as short practices you can do whenever your body or mind asks for it. Each message creates a space for attention—a chance to look honestly and reconnect with simple feelings.

Five notes, five shared moments of presence that support the rhythm of PAUSE without interrupting it. More than giving answers, this guidance reminds you of the value of silence and stillness that already live within you.

To close the PAUSE, we’ll have a short introspective movement practice and a roundtable meeting where we can share and exchange nourishing reflections on the experience.

What you might notice
As the days go by, something starts to change in the quality of care, and small internal adjustments become noticeable:

-
Greater clarity and mental stability
-
More regular and deep breathing
-
Less urge to check your phone or social media
-
Muscle relaxation in the jaw, neck, and shoulders
-
Feeling calm and focused on simple tasks

Who is it for?
PAUSA is designed for those who want to find their own rhythm between connection and silence.

It can also be helpful for people who work with or support others exposed to lots of stimulation—teachers, therapists, artists, communicators, and care professionals—or for anyone who needs to recharge their attention and energy.

No previous experience is needed: just curiosity, sensitivity, and a wish to live in the present with more clarity and presence.
FAQ –
Questions that often come up
-
Do I need to put away my phone or social media during the BREAK?
No. The proposal isn’t about completely disconnecting, but about changing your relationship with the stimulus. During the process, you’ll be invited to notice your habits and decide your own limits.
-
How much time does each practice or message take?
It depends on the practice and the moment you do it.
Everyone is free to follow their own pace: do them whenever you want, repeat them, or take a break if you need to.

The practices and reflections are usually short and designed to fit different attention spans.

The final meeting is completely voluntary — both attending and participating. You can be there in silence or share if you feel like it. It will last between 60 and 90 minutes.
